近日，宏文学校成都校区薛同学和李同学分别收到伦敦大学学院（UCL）、伦敦政治经济学院（LSE）的经济专业预录取offer。伦敦大学学院的校友中，有33位诺贝尔奖 、3位菲尔兹奖得主等各行业翘楚；截至2016年，伦敦政治经济学院校友中诞生了18位诺贝尔奖得主、55位国家元首或政府首脑。
Recently, Xue and Li receivedconditional offers in economics from UCL and LSE respectively. Among UCL alumni, there are 33 Nobel Prize winners, 3 Fields Medals winners and other industry leaders. By 2016, there are 18 Nobel laureates, 55 heads of state or government among LSE alumni.

Hongwen School have different pathways to cultivate excellence along the career goals of our students.One pathway is designed for students who are interested in Entrepreneurship or Finance. Historically our students have had great success in this path – going to great universities across the globe. To support these students, we have a combination of courses including an excellent math program with some of the highest scores in China. Our Fast track math program in particular has stellar results and this is one reason students who are interested in Finance from our school do so well.

These students interested in Finance also take Economics and physics or computer science to help them compete for top quantitative university courses in finance in the top British schools known as the G5. To help develop themselves outside the classroom, many students elect to compete in international Economics competitions or public service and two years running we have the top competing team from this region. The school also helps find these students appropriate internships with the support of financial companies. Many of these students also try to conduct some independent research in their area of interest to deepen their learning and understand their future intellectual tasks more clearly.

Students who are more interested in Entrepreneurship than finance focus less on the core STEM areas which underpin the financial world, but concentrate instead on the creative components that helps create new businesses or even industries.While all students on our campus study math, many try a combination of courses, like business and art, which they think will help them move in a new career direction. A lot of students on our campus are interested in the intersection of Art and Business whether that includes: architecture, game design, films, or the production of textiles or on the other side the management of the arts as a business.
